We were exchange students to Japan in high school. We both ended up at the same high school in Japan & that's where we met. In the states we only lived 25 minutes from each other. Years earlier we both picked strawberries in the summertime for the same farmer. We both attended swimming class with the Red Cross at the same lake. We probably crossed paths without knowing it more than once. But as fate goes we met in high school & during our college years got married. We past the 31 year anniversary mark last year! We have 3 wonderful children & our first grandchild!!

Our most valued treasure on this earth is our family. We have three children, two girls & a boy, two son-in-laws and the excitement of our first grandbaby! Our grand-daughter, Emerson, was born on July 4th - we share the same birthday. What a great birthday gift. We have a great big dog and a cat that keep us company since the children spread their wings and flew south..... to another state. We enjoy visiting with them every chance we get.

We enjoy many different activities. Sid's passion is golf, Mar's is hiking. We both golf & we both hike. Sweet! We love to travel & enjoy different cultures, scenery, and new experiences. Taking on this challenge of going to Africa & climbing Mt Kilimanjaro was all of the above. But most of all it is very rewarding be able to help others. Mar's Dad was recently diagnosed with acute emphysema so this is also personal for our family.

Our next big event is y undecided but our heart & soul is to help others. So stay tuned.........
